Tendai Foromozo

Tendai was born in 1981 in Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe.

He is the oldest with two brothers and two sisters and attended both primary and secondary schools in Chitungwiza.

In 1999, he began sculpting seriously as a result of contact with renowned artists Kennedy Mugero, Ceaser Kadungure and Lincon Muteta.

Tendai worked with these artists for four years until he felt confident enough to start out on his own.

He is at present divorced but keeps in contact with his young son, Monashe.
