Patrick Kwengwe

Born in Highfield, a township on the outskirts of Harare in 1974, to a family of two boys and two girls, Patrick

Is a likable young man who now lives in Chitungwiza.

As an aspiring artist, he needed direction, and found that in sculptor Patrick Fredy, who assisted, taught and encouraged him.

Initially, he found it hard going, but with the constant inspiration given by Fredy, Patrick developed his own unique style in a different form of abstract.

Patrick says 2002 marked the time of the beginning of his artistic maturity, so decided to establish himself as a professional sculptor in his own right.

His wife Elizabeth, whom he married in 2002 have a son together named Kudzayi.

Patrick also is a fan of local soccer team, the Dynamos.
