Mashford Kanyemba

Mashford was born in 1976 in Chitungwiza, a large town near the capital Harare.

After secondary school, he was inspired by his uncle Chituwa Jemali and his elder brothers Denny and Shaibu Kanyemba.

He has a professional yet friendly nature and his art represents many aspects of daily life, mixing tragedies with triumphs.

Most of his work is carved from his favourite stone, Springstone.

Mashford has his open gallery displayed along side his brother, Denny, in Chitungwiza.
