Dickson Rice

Dickson was born in 1974 in Chitungwiza, a half hour from the capital Harare where he attended primary and secondary school and still resides.

In 1997 he started full time sculpting after being influenced by Chituwa Jemali, Denny Kanyemba and Lincon Muteta.

A serious man with few words to waste, Dickson has seen his art being sent to Germany, US, Holland, Singapore, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.

In 1992 he married and they have one boy, Tendai.

An avid football fan, he can be seen supporting his favourite team at all the local matches.
