Bester Baureni

BESTER BAURENI was born in 1968 in Guruve Zimbabwe. His tribe is Chewa and his totem is phiri monkey.

Bester completed 11 years in school and then started sculpting in 1983. He was greatly influenced by Bernard Matemera.

He is now part of the world-famous Tengenenge Scukpture Community anf he has had many exhibitions in countries like Holland, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, South Africa, United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway and Italy.
